Course Description:
In-depth course study of contemporary Africa, providing thorough examination of the continents pre-colonial history, particularly before 1900. The course will study the continent and its people, the way the history of the continent has been interpreted by non-Africans, how the continents anatomy has affected historical development, and the methodology and interdisciplinary scholarship in the study of Africa Arizona State University
